Swing 500
-0.4°F (-18°C) - Report
As Alpinisem does not rhyme with Nationalisem and as xenophobia has nothing to do at Valandré, our little trek and summer bag is........A ugly little duckling.
The SWING 500 is a solide value and well proven bag for thouse who's looking for a 2 season bag for trekings, at a resonable budget, without getting fooled by the singing little mermaide.
If you are capable to live with the fact, that this is a duck down bag, you will be surpriced by it's perfect anatomical poise, and it's exceptional comfort in two season conditions.
Like with the SWING 700, everything in this bag are well proven qualitys: The down quality, zipper, Fabric, craftmanchip and basic baffel system.
But even if only destinated at 2 seasom treks, everything is however installed in this bag to allow performance, once the bag hit's it's low temp range, thanks to a well designed foot box, semi-elastificated draft collar and a well cut hood. A experienced outdoor Dude from BPL, can easyly push the SWING 500 to 20°F (-5C), using a 3/4 Therma-rest and professional base layer.
Using a Kiruna down jacket, experienced outdoor men, can squeeze out a solid 14°F (-10°c), with a BPL impact on their bank account.
