Valandre – French high altitude expedition equipment – since yesterday.....(Or was'ent it the day before?)

April 17th: Edurne Pasaban (Spain) summits her 13th 8000 Annapurna. (Combi)

April 27th: Mrs Oh Eun Sun (Korea), becomes the first woman to compleet the 14 8000 by summiting Annapurna. (Bering + Baffin) 

May 17th: Edurne Pasaban (Spain) summits Shisha Pangma and becomes the second woman to compleet the 14 8000. (Combi)

May 24th: Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner (Austria) summits her 13th 8000 climbing Everest North Face in alpine style without oxygen. (Combi)

July 26th: Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, will make her first summit attempt on her last and final 8000 the 27th: K2. August 5th Gerlinde and Ralf are currently at 7.300, in good weather conditions (low winds), and have a window open for the 6th. August 5/6th Due to heavy stone falles, Ralf decided to decent to BC having allready climbed K2, leaving Gerlinde at the shoulder. Unfortunatly Fredrik Erisson from Sweeden fell to death in the bottleneck, leaving Gerlinde alone in the couloire. As a quansequence, she decented into BC. End of yet another lesson given to Climbers from her Majesty the K2......But it's a lifestyle!
